and progressing through a clearly defined process resulting in the

Montage adds true value to an institutions faculty recruiting process
by identifying the most amicable match between a school's specific
needs and a candidates teaching purpose.
Retained search - Independent schools contract/ or agree
to allow Montage Diversity Consultants to proactively search and
recruit diverse faculty on an exclusive basis during an agreed
upon time frame.
Contingency search - Montage provides potential candidates
from which independent institutions can choose to fill open positions
without any time constraints.

Through consultation, Montage helps organizations reach their stated
diversity goals by creating and executing customized solutions that
addresses current on-campus multicultural issues.
Our Consulting Services Include:
1. Diversity Assessment: The Initial Client Evaluation
Our initial consultation is an important part of us understanding
your school and its mission! It will consists of an on-site/ campus
visit with your School's leadership, Faculty Recruiting Manager,
Head/ Assistant Head of School, Diversity Coordinator, and any
other professional that your school believes will be critical
in discussing issues of diversity on campus.
Throughout our meeting, we will seek specific information, which
will help create a School's Current Diversity Profile. This Profile
will form the starting point for assessing both the effectiveness
and potential impact of current diversity initiatives.
2. Diversity Initiative Creation and Execution
The diversity initiative or (Action Plan) will be an institution's
way of internally outlining their path to the fulfillment of diversity
goals, and externally informing potential candidates (faculty),
students and their families and the world at large, that diversity
on campus is an important issue.
This model will need a School's long-term commitment to addressing
issues of campus diversity as it relates to all aspects of the
campus community.
3. On Campus Diversity Coordinator
The On-Campus Diversity Coordinator Program is a comprehensive
and focused diversity action plan (D.A.P) designed by Montage
Diversity Consultants and your school. The purpose of the D.A.P
is to address and execute on the relevant issues of diversity
raised by the school's executive administration, faculty, parents,
and students. The following is a typical year's outline of the
DAP.
- A Montage Consultant will consult with a school-based committee
comprised of faculty and administrators to develop a diversity
initiative, based on the clients needs and wants. The actual
writing of the final plan will be done by the selected committee
based on the Montage consultant's input. (If School Does not
already have a written diversity initiative.)
- The Montage consultant will engage the student body in serious
dialogue to ensure that there is a solid understanding of the
school's concern and commitment to fairness and equity on their
campus.
- The Montage consultant will consult with members of the faculty
and administration with regard to coordinating methods, which
will make all members of, the community feel more connected
to the school.
- The Montage consultant will help find speakers and recommend
other appropriate resources, which will educate the entire school
community. Where appropriate, speakers may be brought to campus
to meet with various parts of the schools community. (Faculty
training sessions/workshops)
- Montage Diversity Consultants will be contracted to initiate
an employment search for the following school year to provide
candidates of color/culturally diverse backgrounds for consideration
by the Dean of Faculty/ Headmaster / Hiring Team. (This process
typically occurs in the winter and concludes in the spring)
- The appointed Montage consultant, will be on campus six days
out of each trimester in two or three day blocks. Housing and
food expenses will be covered while on campus. To ensure that
the time consultants time is best utilized, careful planning
on and off campus will occur in advance in collaboration with
key administrators.
4. Diversity Days
Montage Diversity Days are one-day events which energize and
stimulate multicultural thinking and dialogue on your campus.
The day involves a presentation by a special speaker and facilitation

5. Diversity Workshop Facilitation
Montage, with our wide network of consultants, can provide
on-campus workshops focusing on:
- Facilitating Difficult Dialogues in the classroom
- Creating a multicultural curriculum
- Building a culture of diversity on your school's campus
